7 Ways:
- Clean the machine periodically as needed. Remove paper dust from the cassettes and the paper path as much as possible. This is also a good time to clean the platen glass and the scanning glass with window cleaner to remove possible debris.
- Check that the paper guides in all the cassettes are set right and are clicked into correct position.
- Reload any paper and make sure to fan it in order to get air in between the sheets. This will minimize the sheets sticking to each other.
- Make sure to get good paper optimized for Copier/Printers. Inferior paper tends to have sticking and heat related problems.
- Review how to clear jams in the Copier's Menu. There is a lot of information now available in the smart phone like interface. You can also take a look at the manual if it's an older machine.
- Make sure that the Copier/Printer is plugged into a Surge Protector/Line Conditioner. These are usually provided by the dealer that installed it. These can prevent odd behavior and sporadic malfunctions.
- Make sure that the machine is in a cool dry place and not near sources of heat or humidity. Heat and humidity are not good for proper function.
